Do Liquor Stores Sell THC Drinks?
Some do. Many liquor stores, beverage retailers and even some grocery stores now carry hemp-derived THC drinks. What you won’t find at a liquor store are marijuana-derived THC drinks, which can only be sold at licensed dispensaries.
Whether a store near you carries hemp THC drinks depends on your state’s rules and on the store itself, so it’s worth calling ahead or checking the retailer’s website.
Hemp-Derived vs. Marijuana-Derived THC Drinks
Hemp-derived THC drinks are made from hemp and contain no more than 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight, the limit set by the 2018 Farm Bill. That’s what makes them federally legal today, and it’s why they can be sold in more places and shipped directly to your door in many states.
Marijuana-derived THC drinks are made from cannabis grown and sold under state cannabis programs. They’re only available at licensed dispensaries in states where cannabis is legal, and they can’t be shipped across state lines.
Keef makes both. Our hemp drinks are sold at keefbrandshemp.com, and our dispensary drinks are sold through licensed dispensaries.
