Delta 9 is the main psychoactive component found in a cannabis plant.
After the passage of the 2018 Federal Farm Bill, cannabis plants containing less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC are considered industrial hemp and can be legally grown and sold. Therefore, hemp-derived cannabis products are considered federally legal, so long as the Delta 9 content remains below 0.3%.
