Searching for 100mg THC drinks? You’re not alone. High-potency cannabis beverages have become popular with experienced consumers, but they’re a very different product from a standard 5mg or 10mg drink.
Here’s what to know before you try one.
What Is a 100mg THC Drink?
A 100mg THC drink contains 100 milligrams of THC in the entire container. That’s the key detail: the number on the front usually refers to the whole container, not a single serving.
Many high-potency drinks are designed to be divided into smaller servings. Always read the label to see how much THC is in each serving and in the full container. Our THC drink dosing guide explains how to read those numbers.
Who Are High-Dose THC Drinks For?
High-potency drinks are best suited for experienced cannabis consumers who know their tolerance, or for people who plan to portion the drink into smaller servings. If you’re new to THC or have a low tolerance, start with a lower-dose drink instead. THC Drinks for Beginners is a good place to start.
How to Portion a 100mg THC Drink
When a high-potency beverage is evenly mixed, you can split it into smaller servings. For example, a 100mg drink could be divided into:
- 20 servings of about 5mg each
- 10 servings of about 10mg each
- 4 servings of about 25mg each
Measure your servings rather than eyeballing them, and follow the serving information on the label.
Start Low and Go Slow
THC drinks can take time to kick in, and everyone responds differently. Start with a small serving and give yourself plenty of time before deciding whether to have more. Learn more about timing in How Fast Do THC Drinks Work?
Never drive or operate machinery after consuming THC, and avoid mixing high-potency drinks with alcohol.
